8.15.03 -- With weeks to spare, we've settled arrangements for the wedding and surrounding events! We've planned several activities in addition to the wedding day...

We've posted everything you need to know about the wedding week -- what's happening, when, and where, maps and directions, where to park, and what to wear -- so take a peek!

7.13.03 -- We're seeing alot of articles about Tuscany lately and thought we'd share a few with everyone.

Strong brunello is Tuscany's gold, Contra Costa Times
This area south Siena isn't Tuscany's most famous wine-producing area -- Chianti Classico could probably lay claim to that title. But it produces some of Italy's most powerful, collectible and long-lived red wines because it's a place that's nearly perfect for growing sangiovese. more...

4.5.03 -- We attended our first wedding-related event... Shar's mother Judy hosted a fabulous engagement party in Kentucky for us and Shar's sister Kimia and her fiance Matt, who will be married in Maui in June, with our combined families! We've posted some photos for those of you who missed the great food and 14 hours of live bluegrass, rock, country, and blues!

2.14.03 -- No doubt you've already heard our big news -- we're getting married! And now, not only have we decided to take the plunge, but we've decided when and where to hold the festivities. So, mark your calendars because the big day is:

Friday, September 19, 2003!

Plans are still underway, but so far we know the wedding will take place at the Palazzo Pubblico in Siena, Italy and will be followed by a dinner reception at a restaurant nearby.

We hope you can join us on this special day. In the meantime, drop us a note or sign our guestbook.

Ciao,
Shar & Kim
